About

Built to HelpBusinesses Thrive

One Acadiana is a bolder, re-energized version of the former Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. We are a business-led, privately-funded economic development organization serving a nine-parish (county) area in South Louisiana. Our vision is to make our region one of the most sought-after places in the South for emerging businesses and professional talent. We call ourselves One Acadiana because we believe it takes a united region to create the best region.

Representing more than 1,200 businesses throughout the area, we also serve as the central business organization for Lafayette – providing leadership on local issues as well as the services and resources of a traditional business association.

At One Acadiana, you’ll find a team of passionate, goal-oriented professionals who are working to grow our economy and tackling our most pressing challenges, including business development, public policy, urban revitalization.

Strength in Numbers

Our organization comprises colleagues, neighbors and business associates – professionals who’ve made a personal commitment to strengthening Acadiana’s economic standing. Our nine parish partners include: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion parishes.

We know achieving our region’s full potential will require a collaborative approach, which is why we built an inclusive organization that welcomes all members, investors, and partners to work with us to make Acadiana a place that defies social and political fragmentation by forming alliances and developing solutions.

By joining One Acadiana you are taking an active role in strengthening the place we call home. Become a member today.

Through active dialogue with business and community leaders, One Acadiana developed a three pronged approach to advance over the next five years to take our region to the next level.

Our three pronged approach:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies to improve regional assets, infrastructure, and policy
  2. Launching a national marketing and sales effort to secure new business investment and professional talent
  3. Revitalizing our regional core
We are truly coming together as an effective regional voice for business. One Acadiana is living up to its name. In sharing our ideas and our concerns across parish lines, we are able to work collaboratively to help fight for business at the local, regional, and state level.
