Economic Development Groups Holding Webinar on COVID-19 Stimulus

Several of the area’s economic development organizations — such as Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, One Acadiana, and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority — are hosting a webinar Friday to update people on the recently passed federal stimulus package and other COVID-19 measures.

The webinar will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will feature The Picard Group’s Director of Federal Affairs Emily Bacque and Deputy Director of Federal Affairs Hunter Hall.

Bacque and Hall will present a policy update on actions taken by Congress in response to COVID-19, the coronavirus that has spread rapidly across the U.S. and Louisiana. Tyron Picard will run a question-and-answer session to answer questions from webinar participants.

The live webinar will be limited to 150 participants, but it will be recorded and shared afterward. The video will be available here after the webinar ends.
