With the retirement of Charles Beazley from Architects Beazley Moliere, the award-winning architecture firm continues its legacy under the new name MOLIERE CHAPPUIS ARCHITECTS. Founded by David L. Perkins in 1955, the firm has transitioned in name and leadership over the last 69 years. MOLIERE CHAPPUIS ARCHITECTS will continue the exceptional architectural design and vision that have been a trademark of the firm since its inception. MOLIERE CHAPPUIS ARCHITECTS will be guided under the leadership of President Albert Moliere and Vice President Scott Chappuis.
Serving Clients including Our Lady of Lourdes, various local municipalities, the State of Louisiana, the U.S. Federal Government, and numerous local businesses, MOLIERE CHAPPUIS ARCHITECTS has contributed significantly to the iconic architecture of our region. Some of their previous projects include: The LITE Center, The Federal Courthouse in Downtown Lafayette, and the Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center.
Chappuis started as an intern at the firm in 2010 and was mentored closely by both Charles Beazley and Albert Moliere. After 14 years, Chappuis now joins Moliere at the helm and the two pledge to renew the firm’s commitment to provide designs that enhance our community and improve the quality of our built environment. Moliere says, “The addition of Scott as my partner was the obvious next step for our firm. His dedication and passion exemplify everything we have built here.” Chappuis added, “It is an honor to be a part of the rich legacy of Moliere Chappuis. I look forward to continuing to design buildings and spaces that enrich the built environment throughout Acadiana.”
