Vermilion Economic Development Alliance named in 10 best economic development websites list

Accrinet – a design firm based out of Charlotte, North Carolina – builds websites for both the economic development and non-profit worlds. Each fall, President Jeff Kline seeks inspiration from around the web for economic development agencies planning to build or update their online presence. According to Kline, “It’s so important to present website visitors with a professional, informative web design that portrays the strength and credibility of your region’s economic development organization.”

For 2015, Kline scoured hundreds of sites looking for the 10 that best exemplified new trends in design. Winners spanned the nation from coast to coast and included places like Washington D.C., San Jose, and South Bend, as well as smaller county economic development operations like the one in Vermilion. Vermilion Economic Development Alliance’s website, www.developvermilion.org was recognized as one of the “10 Best Economic Development Websites of 2015.”

The Alliance’s director, Anne Falgout, could not be more excited. “When we decided to create our brand we knew that a best-in-class website was a priority. Our friends at Pixelbrush Studios used their talents to transform my vision into reality and brought their fresh perspective to every element. We’re excited to share our success with the community that we serve, and hope to remain at the bleeding edge of design and service.”

The Alliance website was built in 2015 with financial support from with the Vermilion Tourism Commission. Visit www.developvermilion.org to learn more about the organization and explore the beauty of Vermilion Parish.
