1. Give us a brief history of your company. 

Created in late 2008, MHG exists as a full-scale comprehensive family medicine facility with multiple service offerings covering the basics of primary care while emphasizing in cardiovascular prevention.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

Iberia Parish President Larry Richard said the future looks bright for South Louisiana Community College after a meeting was held this week about the International School of Aviation Excellence. 

The meeting included One Acadiana’s President and CEO Troy Wayman, State Rep. Terry Landry, D-New Iberia, personnel from U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins’ office and others, who discussed future plans to establish an aviation school in Iberia Parish. 

This month, 1A’s Transportation Infrastructure Committee hosted Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) Executive Director Steven Picou for an update and Q&A on the airport’s new terminal project. The Lafayette Airport Commission (LAC) continues working with state and federal officials to advance the project.

Give us a brief history of your company.

One Acadiana President and CEO Troy Wayman joined GMA this morning to share details on the organization’s upcoming “An Expert’s Perspective” event.

The event will feature economist Dr. Loren Scott who will give his forecast on Acadiana’s regional economy. Wayman says he believes this year’s forecast will be slightly more optimistic than what it has been in the past. The focus will be mainly on Acadiana but will also include comments on the region’s involvement in Louisiana’s economy, as well.
