Lafayette, LA— The Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) has named its Human Resource Professional of the Year— Randolph “Rudy” Comeaux, VP of Organizational Development & People at The Lemoine Company.

Comeaux joined the Lemoine Company in January 2008 as an Operations Intern while studying Construction Management at LSU. Upon graduation in May 2008 he was hired as an Office Engineer and moved into the Director of HR role in January of 2015.

Richard's Cajun Foods is expanding in the Town of Church Point. 

Governor John Bel Edwards and Richard's Cajun Foods Inc. President Ronnie Doucet announced that the company will invest $2.7 million to relocate some production and administrative functions and expand the company's operations there.

With the expansion, the food processing company will retain 38 new jobs and create 12 new direct jobs, with an average annual salary of $35,000.

December 10, 2018, Baton Rouge, LA – Lafayette, LA based prepared meal business Good Eats Kitchen announces its acquisition of Fresh Kitchen’s two retail store locations in Baton Rouge.  The financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed, however in addition to the two retail stores, Good Eats Kitchen is also acquiring Fresh Kitchen’s branding and recipes for many of  Fresh Kitchen’s most popular meals. Good Eats Kitchen will also retain many of Fresh Kitchen’s employees.

Lake Charles, La.- Marsha Williams, an experienced banker and Lake Charles native has been promoted to the position of Senior VP/Chief Credit Officer. Williams has worked for JD Bank for three years, most recently serving as manager of the Credit Analysis Department. She actually accepted her first banking position more than 27 years ago while a student at McNeese State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Williams has years of experience in credit analysis/commercial loan underwriting and business relationship banking.
