1. Give me a brief history of your company.
We are a locally owned franchise that is part of a national franchise. Lawn Doctor is celebrating their 50 year anniversary.
2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?
Being locally owned we want to support Acadians to improve their quality of life around their home by providing lawn care services such as fertilizing and weed, pest, and fungus control to their lawns ultimately providing a lush green landscape for them to enjoy.
3. What are you most proud of?
Choosing to open this ‘green’ business back in my home area after being gone for over 20+ years.
4. Where do you see your business in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?
Current Territorial rights for Lawn Doctor of Lafayette goes from the Atchafalaya Basin to the Vermillion Bay and all points in between. In 10 years I would expect to have expanded from a one-vehicle operation to at least four vehicles to service the number of customers we will have. There could even be potential expansion into Baton Rouge and/or Lake Charles.

I firmly believe that economic development, infrastructure improvements, and job creation in diverse industries is critical to growing Acadiana.
