Glenn Armentor Law Corporation Expands Parking to Help More of Acadiana’s Injured

LAFAYETTE, LA – Across the street from Good Hope Hall, home of the Glenn Armentor Law Corporation, a new parking lot has opened for easier access to the personal injury law firm for clients and potential clients.

On June 17, the Points of Light Foundation, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, recognized Entergy Corporation for civic engagement, sustainability and social responsibility, earning the company The Civic 50 award for the fourth consecutive year. This award identifies the 50 most community-minded companies in the nation each year.

Even though Hurricane Katrina and the Great Flood of 2016 made the problem much worse, the sad fact is that blighted property was a problem in many cities across Louisiana for a long time before those calamities.

The crisis has been difficult to address. Even when owners neglected their property and failed to pay taxes on it, Louisiana law sharply restricted what could be done about it.

LAFAYETTE, LA – JUNE,12, 2019 – On June 12, the Manufacturing Leadership (ML) Council honored Noble Plastics as one of the winners of the 2019 Manufacturing Leadership Award. The South Louisiana-based design and manufacturing company won in the category of Industrial Internet of Things Leadership. Ways to support diversification of Acadiana’s economy addressed at summit

LAFAYETTE — More than 100 local shareholders in the region’s workforce development efforts gathered at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Thursday to determine how to best grow the foundations needed — through employee education, outreach and private/public partnerships — to support the diversification of Acadiana’s economy.

Lacassine Operating Company will invest $12.5 million to construct a catalyst blending plant in Lacassine, Louisiana.

With the new project, Lacassine Operating will create 40 new jobs. Lacassine Operating is a newly formed partner company of Equilibrium Catalyst Inc. Designed to serve oil refineries throughout the world, the catalyst plant will become the anchor tenant of the Lacassine Rail Terminal operated by Rail Logix in Jefferson Davis Parish.

One-Acadiana’s Women’s Network today, featured Brittany Hebert, CEO of Sky High for Kids, a nonprofit that raises money to combat childhood cancer.
