HOPE Healthcare and Hospice was created by a local, experienced group of healthcare professionals that possess a passion for making a difference in the lives of those touched by advanced illness. Our Nurses, as well as the rest of our care team work side by side with the patient's doctor and our Medical Director to provide the highest quality of care. We currently serve Acadia, St. Landry, St. Mary, Lafayette, Iberia, Evangeline, Jeff Davis, St. Martin, and Vermilion parish.

Chris Credeur, AVP/ A/R and Inventory Financing Department Manager, and Carnishia Davis, Universal Banker, of JD Bank in Jennings, successfully completed the 2019 Leadership School, “Growing our Next Generation of Leaders”, a six-month program that included online course work and five instructor-led sessions focused on developing leadership skills and enhancing knowledge in various areas of banking. The program provided by the Louisiana Bankers Association and held in Baton Rouge at The Bankers Center, hosts students from all over the state.

Forums and elections with Dr. Christie Maloyed (UL Lafayette, League Women Voters) and Mr. Andre Breaux (One Acadiana), on Bayou to Beltway, 12:30 Wednesday and 5:30 Saturday.

1. Give us a brief history of your company.

What: The Love Our Schools initiative is being moved to SATURDAY, AUGUST 10 as a result of Tropical Storm Barry that is expected to impact Acadiana in the coming days.

All existing volunteers who are already signed up will be automatically transitioned to the new August 10th date.  If existing volunteers wish to make a change to their assignment, they can access their sign-up account through the email confirmation they originally received.

About 50 volunteers from different nonprofits, businesses and communities spent their Tuesday packing 5,000 backpacks with school supplies as part of the Love Our Schools initiative that will benefit eight Lafayette Parish schools.

Inside the Lafayette Parish School System's warehouse, the group stood in assembly lines on either side of a long string of tables full of boxes of pencils, Elmer's glue, composition notebooks and Expo markers.

Northshore Moving started in Hammond in 2008 with a pickup truck and trailer delivering furniture for a local furniture store. We now service all of Louisiana for local and long distance moving and delivery utilizing our full fleet of professional delivery and moving trucks.

LAFAYETTE, La.— One Acadiana today announced that, in collaboration with the Regional Economic Alliance of Louisiana (REAL), it will host the fourth annual Statewide Economic Development Summit presented by Entergy on October 22-23, 2019.

Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Brian J. Lindsey has joined the firm as associate attorney in the firm’s Lafayette office. Mr. Lindsey will practice in the Offshore Energy and Marine Litigation group.

Mr. Lindsey earned his B.S. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2004 and earned his J.D./C.L., magna cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2014, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and an associate member of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources.

The fourth annual Statewide Economic Development Summit, hosted by the Regional Economic Alliance of Louisiana, will be held at L’Auberge Baton Rouge Oct. 22-23.

The event will feature a gubernatorial candidate forum on the first day and a keynote address by Bruce Katz, author of “The New Localism,” on the second day.

Organizations hosting the summit include the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, GNO Inc., One Acadiana and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority.
