Glenn Armentor “Pay It Forward” Food Drive Kicked Off With $5,000 Donation

LAFAYETTE, LA – Glenn Armentor is partnering with NuNu’s Market, Townsquare Media and Fox 15 KADN/NBC 15 KLAF for the Glenn Armentor “Pay It Forward” Food Drive, hoping to collect as much food as possible for Second Harvest Food Bank to feed families and kids in need at the start of the school year.

The 4th new-car dealership in the TEAM Automotive Group is their first in Acadiana

The TEAM Automotive Group is proud to announce the opening of TEAM Honda of Acadiana, the company’s first dealership located West of the Atchafalaya Basin, and the fourth overall. The new dealership is located on I-49 just north of the Harry Guilbeau Road Exit.

Today during the One Acadiana luncheon, University of Louisiana System President and CEO Jim Henderson announced Compete LA, a program designed to re-engage the 653,000 Louisianians with some college credit but no degree. The program is an opportunity to improve the state’s second to last ranking of those with bachelor’s degrees or higher.

The University of Louisiana System has launched a new program with the goal of getting Louisianians back to school and finishing their bachelor's degree.

System President and CEO Jim Henderson discussed the details of the Compete LA program Thursday at a luncheon for One Acadiana members.

(LHCG), a national provider of in-home healthcare services, and South Louisiana Community College (SLCC) recently unveiled a new home health lab for college nursing students in training. The lab, located on SLCC's campus in Lafayette, recreates a residential bedroom, living room, and bathroom area where nursing students can practice skills in a home health environment.

One Acadiana kicked off a five-year campaign Wednesday aimed at bringing new businesses and expanding opportunities across the region.

The organization launched “Impact – The Campaign for One Acadiana” during a gathering at M.L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park. The effort is its second five-year, $15 million campaign to make the region a sought-aftrer location for emerging businesses and employees.
