LAFAYETTE, La.— One Acadiana today announced that, in collaboration with the Regional Economic Alliance of Louisiana (REAL), it will host the fourth annual Statewide Economic Development Summit presented by Entergy on October 22-23, 2019.
“Each year, the Summit brings together economic development professionals and other stakeholders from across Louisiana to engage in dialogue designed to educate and broaden perspectives, share best practices, and build relationships,” said Troy Wayman, President and CEO of One Acadiana. “As regional leaders committed to the economic wellbeing of Acadiana and our state, we are excited to convene with our community, business, and economic development partners to discuss opportunities and challenges relating to the state’s economic growth.”
The two-day Summit will take place at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge, featuring a Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on the first evening and a keynote presentation by Bruce Katz, author of The New Localism, on the second day. The goal of the Statewide Economic Development Summit is to strengthen the state’s economy through shared ideas and business practices.

Early-bird registration will be available through August 1, at which point prices will increase.
