One Acadiana Hosts 2019 Legislative Session Recap in Lafayette

One Acadiana hosted a luncheon with representatives of the local area.

The luncheon focused on a recap of the 2019 Legislative session and where projects including budget stability, education, and infrastructure stand.

One Acadiana CEO Troy Wayman says this year’s session was positive for Louisiana. He commended the local legislators saying they listen to the priorities of residents, business owners and organizations

The time was an opportunity to engage with legislators, ask questions and hear what their thoughts are on this year’s session. Wayman says the event helps give a peek at what legislators are doing at the capitol.

“People will come away knowing that our legislators are working for people in the Acadiana region,” Wayman said.
