One Acadiana launches economic recovery toolkit for businesses

One Acadiana has announced a new resource for businesses facing economic hardships due to COVID-19.

On Friday, April 3, the economic development organization launched their Economic Recovery Toolkit containing quick-reference guides and disaster aid resources.

Guides found in the toolkit include the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) – a key provision in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), Paid Leave Tax Credits, Employee Retention Tax Credits, and the Louisiana Loan Portfolio Guaranty Program (LPGP).

“We are proud to be a source for accurate information during this crisis,” said One Acadiana President & CEO Troy Wayman. “We are working every day alongside our regional partners to provide a rapid response to businesses seeking answers and guidance. Our efforts are focused on minimizing the damage to our economy and preparing for the recovery to come.”
