One Acadiana (1A)’s leadership has announced new appointments to the board. The Board of Directors of the economic development organization and chamber of commerce will focus in 2021 on business development, policy, and membership initiatives.

LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana (1A) today announced the promotion of Zach Hager, CEcD, to the position of Vice President of Economic Development. In this role, Hager will continue to oversee business attraction, retention, and expansion programs for the nine-parish region of Acadiana and will expand his leadership role in initiatives designed to make Acadiana one of the most sought-after places for businesses and talent.

One Acadiana (1A) and the Kathleen Babineaux Blanco Public Policy Center at UL Lafayette (Blanco Center) have signed an agreement to form a strategic partnership to advance the two organizations’ shared missions. Both organizations are engaged on work to improve the policy environment at the local, regional, and state level, and this partnership will ensure alignment of staff and other resources to strengthen their collective impact.
