1. Give us a brief history of your organization.
Edward Jones was established in 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri based on the principles of providing high quality long-term investments to help clients achieve a secure financial future. Our company’s founder Edward Jones Sr. believed that our offices should be easily accessible and located in the communities that we serve. What began as a single office, has grown to a Fortune 500 company managing over a trillion dollars in assets with more than 15,000 offices across United States and Canada.
I became a financial advisor with Edward Jones in 2018 and joined my father, a veteran Edward Jones financial advisor, at the Scott Louisiana office.
2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?
What makes my office at Edward Jones special is the strong relationship that I build with my clients. As a financial advisor, I do this by first finding out what is important to my clients. I then help them create a personalized investment strategy and partner with them throughout their life to keep them on track to help make their dreams a reality.
Before joining Edward Jones, I graduated from law school and worked as an attorney. My legal experience gives me a unique approach. I work alongside my clients, as well as their attorneys and accountants, to provide a comprehensive investment strategy.
3. What are you most proud of?
Edward Jones has been named several times as the Highest in Investor Satisfaction (with full-service brokerage firms) by J.D. Power. Edward Jones also received the award in 2021 despite the challenges of the pandemic.
4. Where do you see your organization in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?
I look forward to continuing to work as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in the Acadiana area and providing my clients with the highest level of service possible.
5. 1A is making an impact as we take an active role in improving the community we live in. Our members are making an impact, too! – What does impact mean to you? How is your company making an impact?
Impact means creating change that has a lasting effect. As a financial advisor, I work to help parents save for their children’s education, retirees have a comfortable retirement, families financially protect their loved ones and businesses to save money on taxes. My goal is to empower my clients to achieve their financial goals so that whether they are just starting their career or about to retire, they can be financially secure.
