Register for Learn with LIFE: Community Conversations - Nov. 17

UL LIFE is a program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our program focuses on four major components: career readiness, academic growth, community involvement, and independent living. Students participate in the college experience through university courses, internships, organizations, on-campus housing, and on-campus activities.

With a strong on-campus foundation is it time to meaningfully engage with our Acadiana community. The first step is to identify supportive employers and organizations. This is where YOU come in. Our program is introducing a new initiative "Learn with LIFE" and each year we will host a series focused on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The first series is Community Conversations. Our goal is to build relationships with community businesses and organizations that could lead to employment and participation for our students during their time in college and after graduation.
