Something Borrowed Blooms, a local company that rents silk flower arrangements for weddings, unveiled its expanded 15,000-square-foot facility Thursday, giving the business the capacity to serve the surge of weddings expected in 2022.

Based in Lafayette, Something Borrowed Blooms serves brides across the country, providing access to premium silk flower arrangements at a lower cost. Lauren Bercier, co-founder and CEO of Something Borrowed Blooms, said the company is expecting more than 100% growth in 2022.

“Next year we’re really optimistic about the opportunity,” Bercier said. “We’re currently shipping about 900 weddings a month, but we’re on track to do about 2,000 weddings a month starting next year.”
