1. Give us a brief history of your organization.

I went into practice with my father at his firm in Ville Platte right after I received my license to practice. That was in July of 2018. I wanted to expand to Lafayette, into a bigger market, so I created The Vidrine Law Firm, LLC. I opened an office in January of 2022 in the Chase Tower in Downtown. I work between my office in Lafayette and my office in Ville Platte.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

I grew up around the law. My father and Uncle are both Attorneys and I was always around there office. I have always been interested in a career in law. However, after I graduated College at LSU I became a Highschool teacher and Coach. I coached football, baseball, and golf. I was employed as a Teacher an coach for three years before I went to law school. I think my life experiences, growing up around a thriving law firm and being a teacher, has given me a unique approach to practicing law.

3. What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how my family handled the struggles of being in law school. I had to resign as a teacher to go to law school. My wife, Brittany, is a Speech Therapist and worked to keep us afloat while I was in school. We also had two of our three children while I was in law school. I would have never made it had it not been for the support of my wife and family while I was in school. I am also proud that we were able to open this office in Lafayette. Having an office in a bigger city has been something that I have always dreamed of.

4. Where do you see your organization in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?

I see myself having a thriving Firm in Lafayette with multiple attorneys in 10 years. I also see myself having a thriving law firm in Ville Platte in 10 years. No matter the success I have in the bigger market of Lafayette, I will never fully leave my roots in Ville Platte.

I see myself practicing law in the same manner as I do now. I am able to focus on my clients needs, concerns, and legal rights in a professional manner that has a significant personal touch based on my life experiences. This makes me a very effective attorney for my clients, especially in Family Law and Personal Injury cases.

5. 1A is making an impact as we take an active role in improving the community we live in. Our members are making an impact, too! – What does impact mean to you? How is your company making an impact?

To me, impact means that you have influenced your community in a positive manner. It means that you left your community in a better place then when you joined that community. I make an impact on the community through my clients. I offer them affordable and professional representation that is always Client centered to improve their situations. I also want to make an Impact in this community through charity and community service.
