Member Spotlight: Vitally Fit

1. Give us a brief history of your organization.

Vitally Fit was founded by Victoria Mouton as an online fitness training platform to give women an opportunity to continue their workouts at home in 2020 immediately after the shutdowns were put in place. We have grown to have an in-person, private studio located within an alternative wellness clinic alongside the online training platform.

Victoria has four years of experience as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a Pre/Postnatal Performance Training Specialist, a HIIT Certified Instructor, a Schwinn Indoor Cycling Certified Instructor, and a physical therapy tech.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

What makes me special is I can relate with a majority of women when it comes to fitness and working out. I have been in the position where I was beyond confused about what to do. I have unfortunately tried all the fad diets and outrageous hustle-and-sweat-until-I-can’t-anymore workouts. I know what it’s like to be at the end of my wits not knowing what is actually healthy. After being disappointed in the results that never came and how I felt so depleted, I was determined to figure out what it was that is actually healthy which led me to becoming a certified personal trainer so I can help other women with their fitness journeys.

3. What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my clients and seeing how far they have come. They are truly the reason I do what I do. Being able to see them grow in their health and fitness is so inspiring. Especially when they have been working on a new exercise, skill, or concept that they haven’t been able to completely grasp or perform, and then it finally clicks. Once it clicks and they realize they can do it, they get this light in their eyes that is priceless.

4. Where do you see your organization in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?

I see Vitally Fit helping women online all over the country with their fitness. With online training, it can be done anywhere at any time - at home, the gym of the client’s choice, the park, and even while traveling.

The online programs are all planned out already. There is no need for the clients to plan their own workouts, choose what exercises or how many reps and sets.  It’s all done for the clients. Women have a pressed schedule whether it’s a busy work schedule, taking care of the kids at home, or juggling both! The flexibility of my online fitness training can save so much time to where women can have more time and attention for their families, work, or other hobbies.

5. 1A is making an impact as we take an active role in improving the community we live in. Our members are making an impact, too! - What does impact mean to you? How is your company making an impact?

When I think of the word impact, I think of something that is forceful or influential. Vitally Fit is making an impact on women’s health by making fitness understandable, simple, and enjoyable with time-savvy workouts designed specifically for women. I share the knowledge and resources clients need to be successful with their fitness journeys. When you work out with Vitally Fit, you are living Vitally Fit.
