1A Announces 2023 Leadership

Lafayette, LA – One Acadiana (1A)’s leadership has announced new appointments to the board. The Board of Directors of the economic development organization and chamber of commerce will focus in 2023 on business development, policy, and membership initiatives.

The region’s business leaders elected the following 2023 Officers:

  • Blaise Zuschlag, Acadian Companies, 2023 Chair
  • Mary Desormeaux, Community First Bank, Treasurer
  • Al Patin, Ochsner Lafayette General, Secretary
  • Jerry Prejean, First Horizon Bank, 2024 Chair-Elect
  • Charles Fenstermaker, Fenstermaker, Immediate Past Chair

“As incoming chair, I am proud to be supporting One Acadiana’s goal of setting a vibrant, unified vision for our region’s economy,” said Blaise Zuschlag. “Our efforts in attracting and retain high-paying jobs, ensuring regional infrastructure investments, and strengthening Acadiana’s workforce while attracting skilled talent, will help us achieve our commitment to enhancing Acadiana’s quality of place and business environment, and supporting businesses locally and regionally.”
