1. Give us a brief history of your organization.

ReHive was created in 2017 in an effort to be a real estate brokerage that offers customers the ability to sell their homes in the most efficient way for a better price than a traditional real estate brokerage by utilizing technology.

With over 20 years of combined experience as real estate investors and developers, we were tasked with selling our own inventory so we were persistently seeking a better way to maximize our returns, unlike the traditional model allowed. Once we established the systems that solved our business challenges, we decided to offer our customers the same systems and strategies; the rest is history. We have sold over 420 homes for approximately $85,000,000 in less than 5 years and a pipeline of new inventory that should push us near 1,000 homes by 2024.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

We take a team approach in our transactions. According to the National Association of Realtors, the typical agent has an average of 10 transactions a year. We push 100+
transactions a year so even our younger agents are knowledgeable beyond their years and are able to anticipate issues and provide solutions to complicated transactions
quickly because of their previous experiences. We strive to deliver the best overall customer experience possible while also allowing the client to have the highest profit
margins possible. Also with our participation in ground-up development, our team is able to have their hands in every phase of the real estate transaction.

3. What are you most proud of?

I am proud of the jobs we are creating for our agents, subcontractors, and vendors here in Acadiana. I am proud of our agents who bought into our culture. We challenge them to be self-motivated, high-character individuals that are intentional about personal development which allows them to make high-level decisions early on in their careers. Our leadership can trust our staff without micromanaging because of their integrity and commitment.

4. Where do you see your organization in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?

I typically like to visualize the future in 5-year increments because the pace that the world is changing with technology is hard to comprehend what it would look like in 10
years, but if I had to predict I believe we will be triple the size we are now and have our footprint in other states. We pride ourselves on being a company that can adapt to the changes in the industry and is constantly evolving, therefore I am confident because of our flexibility wherever we are in 10 years we should be on the right side of history.

5. 1A is making an impact as we take an active role in improving the community we live in. Our members are making an impact, too! – What does impact mean to you? How is your company making an impact?

As a small business owner in Acadiana, we certainly appreciate the contributions of One Acadiana to the community. Impact means everything to me. I think its human
nature to be motivated at an early age by status and money; admittedly I was once there mentally but as I mature, my motivations have evolved to be focused more on my
ability to impact because I realized that there is an emptiness to success if you are not impacting someone or contributing to a greater cause.

Our company is making an impact by growing our employees to be leaders and people of integrity. We are also impacting the community by revitalizing distressed areas in the community through our new construction developments. We are intentional about our designs and providing families with homes they can be proud of.
