NEW IBERIA – SLCC’s Economic & Workforce Development Department will host a job fair focused on the industrial trades on Tuesday, April 18, 203, from 9 a.m. to noon at SLCC New Iberia campus located at 908 Ember Dr.  This hiring event is free and open to the public.

LM Enterprises, LLC has been around for 25 years, but has recently re-branded to LMP. We focus on many aspects of the credit card business, such as merchant services, point of sales, e-commerce, B2B merchant services. Currently, LMP is concentrating on the ERC Program, Employee Retention Credit, for companies with 5 or more W-2 employees. This program ends in 2024.

Schumacher Family Foundation spoke at a Wednesday Lunch & Learn session about how to make the city more inviting to young talent and how an arms race has evolved among cities around the country to invest in bringing young professional to live.
