LAFAYETTE:  The705 invites the public to attend the first annual Signature Speaker Series.

Richfield, Ohio – April 25th, 2023 – Town Planner recently held its national conference in Cleveland, Ohio.  At this conference their annual award winners were announced.

Town Planner Corporate gives out this award annually to a publisher who meets the following criteria:

New York, NY, and Baton Rouge, LA: Thursday, April 20, 2023 – Global business advisory firm EisnerAmper announced that the directors and colleagues of Louisiana-based accounting, assurance, tax, consulting and technology firm Postlethwaite & Netterville (“P&N”) will be joining EisnerAmper in a transaction anticipated to close by the summer of 2023.

Ochsner Lafayette General and two agencies are partnering on a respiratory apprenticeship program that will kick off this fall that will address a need for more respiratory therapists in the region.

LSU-Eunice and Acadiana Workforce Solutions are partnering with OLG on the project, which expects to have 10 students enrolled to start and involves 18 months of academic courses followed by clinical rotations with Ochsner in which they will be compensated.

LAFAYETTE, La. – On April 19, One Acadiana (1A) hosted the organization’s annual event to update partners on the regional 55 by 25 educational attainment initiative. The 55 by 25 initiative’s goal is to increase the proportion of working-age adults in Acadiana with postsecondary degrees, certificates, or other high-value credentials to 55 percent by 2025.

1. Give us a brief history of your organization. 

I started residential real estate in 2015 at Latter & Blum, formerly Van Eaton & Romero.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

My love for the real estate profession, helping people find their dream home, and serving the community is what makes my business special.

3. What are you most proud of?

The 2023 Regular Session convened April 10, and as expected, things got off to a quiet start. Bills were read into the record and referred to their appropriate committees, and discussion began on state departmental budgets. Governor John Bel Edwards also gave his annual “State of the State” address, focusing on his priorities for his final year as Governor, which include increasing teacher pay, establishing a state minimum wage, and ending the death penalty.
