Amedisys Home Health, One Acadiana and the Lafayette Council on Aging have partnered to host a fan and water drive, benefiting the members of the Lafayette Council on Aging. The drive is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2023, from 8am- 11am at the One Acadiana office, located at 804 East St. Mary Blvd. We are collecting box fans and cases of water. Fans can be new or used, and in good working condition. With temperatures steadily climbing in South Louisiana, our goal is to provide cooling aides and hydration to our aging population, to assist in keeping them comfortable during the hot summer months. The Lafayette Council on Aging will distribute all donated items to current members in need.
