Our company was established in 2011 and recently went through a re-branding to Hux Capital Management LLC.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

PINEVILLE, La. – June 15, 2023 – Cleco Power was recently recognized for efforts to grow communities across its service territory in the utility category of Business Facilities magazine’s 1st Annual Economic Development Organization (EDO) Awards.

1. Give us a brief history of your organization. 

Bloomin’ Blinds is a local and family-owned business which focuses on custom window treatments. We were disappointed with the sales people who were not well informed at big box retailers and seemed to be going through the motions; we felt customers deserved more and that is what we strive to provide.

2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?

Lawmakers worked through the weekend as House and Senate leadership spent their energy working toward a budget agreement. Senate Finance convened on Saturday to advance the budget bills, including HB1 and HB 560, both heavily amended by the upper chamber.
