Dee Stanley has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SIDES & Associates, the Lafayette-based advertising, public relations and communications program management firm. For the past seven years, Stanley has served as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SIDES.

Prior to joining SIDES in 2016, Stanley served as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Lafayette Consolidated Government for 12 years. Before accepting the position of highest-ranking employee of Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government in 2004, Stanley was News Director at KLFY-TV 10. His career also included prior service as the Clerk of the Lafayette City Council for four years and, before that, as investigative reporter and news anchor for KLFY-TV 10.

Larry Sides, founder and immediate past president of SIDES will remain as chairman of the board of the agency. In making the announcement, Sides said “Dee has advanced the standards of performance set forth over 45 years ago when SIDES was launched. Our clients will continue to benefit from Dee’s service and leadership in his new role.”
