LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana is proud to announce that its Director of Economic Development, Megan Duhon, earned the nationally recognized designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), denoting a mastery of skills in economic development and a dedication to personal and professional growth. This milestone marks a significant achievement and underscores Duhon’s commitment to excellence in the field of economic development.

Joining 1A President & CEO Troy Wayman, Megan is now one of two CEcD-certified professionals at One Acadiana. In addition to being recognized as an IEDC Accredited Economic Development Organization and a 5-star Accredited Chamber of Commerce, Megan’s accomplishment adds significant value to the work of One Acadiana, helping pave a path for the growth and prosperity of the region.
