One Acadiana Scholarships

EligibilityRequirements

One Acadiana is proud to launch two scholarships for returning students in the Acadiana region, in partnership with South Louisiana Community College and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Scholarship Recipients

While many high school graduates receive funding and assistance to enter their freshman year at a higher education institution, fewer scholarship opportunities exist for students continuing their education. To address this, the One Acadiana Scholarships will be awarded to one SLCC student and one UL Lafayette student.

Building Acadiana Together

As the region’s leading economic development organization and Lafayette’s Chamber of Commerce, One Acadiana’s work is focused on strengthening Acadiana’s workforce and building Acadiana’s businesses. This scholarship is aligned with 55 by 25, our region’s educational attainment initiative, which has the goal of increasing the proportion of working-age adults in Acadiana with postsecondary degrees, certificates, or other high-value credentials to 55 percent by 2025.
