AJC Business Solutions is a management and implementation consulting company, owned by Aleisha Johnson Cook, that utilizes project management, lean six sigma, and instructional design methodologies to create long-lasting solutions that help enhance businesses and organizations.

About the Owner

Aleisha is a proud Lafayette, LA native and dynamic entrepreneur with a wealth of experience and a heart for service. Aleisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MBA with concentrations in Global Supply Chain and Marketing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. With 12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, and Project Management at a Fortune 100 company in Memphis, TN, Aleisha returned to her hometown in 2020 to begin the next chapter of her career. Her experience also includes working as Supply Chain Services Manager at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

Journey Into Entrepreneurship

Also after returning to Lafayette, Aleisha decided to utilize her experience and education to launch her own consulting practice. For the last three years, she has been building her business’s clientele, working with both for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations.

Last month, she was one of the nine finalists selected for the Elevate Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition, conducted by Lafayette Economic Development Authority, Opportunity Machine and UL LEED Center.

AJC Business Solutions will also be working with the Leadership Institute of Acadiana, guiding their Community Impact Fellows inaugural cohort through developing an actionable project plan to impact the community.

Assistance from the Small & Minority Business Support Program
Jack & Associates, through 1A’s Small & Minority Business Support program, was able to assist Aleisha with exploring business models and identifying the target customer base for AJC Business Solutions. We also provided assistance to the business regarding its application with the UpLFT Small Business micro grant facilitated through LEDA last year.
