1A Ballot Briefings

 

As the voice of the regional business community, 1A aims to keep our members informed heading to the polls. You may be familiar with our “2 Minutes That Matter” and “Candidate Conversations” videos. Our new “Ballot Briefings” series offers briefings on ballot items you’ll be asked to vote on this fall – with elections on October 11 and November 15.

In Lafayette Parish, the November 15 ballot includes two local millage renewals – one for Road & Bridge Maintenance and the other for Public Health & Safety. We sat down with Lafayette Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet, who helped explain both propositions. Check out the video below to learn more!

The October 11 ballot also included two local millage renewals in Lafayette Parish – one for the Lafayette Parish School System and the other for the Bayou Vermilion District. Here are the election results:
