Acadiana’s urban core – including the areas around Downtown Lafayette and UL Lafayette – is experiencing renewal and growth, with significant new investments underway or announced. Vibrant Acadiana
Launched in 2021, Vibrant Acadiana is One Acadiana’s overarching effort to enhance quality of place and champion a thriving urban core. The initiative engages stakeholders through civic conversations and targeted advocacy that advances urban revitalization and development.
Invest Acadiana
Invest Acadiana is an initiative led by One Acadiana and the Acadiana Planning Commission to support Opportunity Zone investment across the Acadiana region.
The initiative focuses on raising awareness of Opportunity Zones as an economic development tool and helping align investors, projects, and communities around high-impact opportunities. As federal Opportunity Zone policy evolves, Invest Acadiana also serves as a platform for regional coordination and preparedness.
