Background
One Acadiana (1A) is a business-led organization launched in 2015 with a vision to make the Acadiana region one of the most sought-after places in the South for emerging businesses and professional talent.
Serving as the Chamber of Commerce for Lafayette and the leading economic development organization for Acadiana, 1A represents over 700 businesses and individuals throughout Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion parishes.
Thanks to the support of 1A investors and the regional business community, One Acadiana is able to execute a program of work designed to advance the region’s landscape while providing expansive menu of benefits provided to investors and members.
Making An Impact
In 2025, 1A began a new five-year campaign focused on propelling Acadiana forward as one of the most dynamic and desirable regions in the South for business and talent alike. Both measurable and accountable, this plan aligns financial and partner organization resources to achieve both synergy and an exponential return on investment.
With strategic objectives and clear goals, the support of 1A investors and the regional business community is fueling Acadiana’s future.
