LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana’s (1A) Ambassador Program was awarded the 2025 Membership Engagement Award by The Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE). This achievement was recognized at the 2025 LACCE Conference, held this year locally in Lafayette.
One Acadiana’s increasingly popular Ambassador Program was presented with the Membership Engagement Award, which recognizes significant achievement or programs in membership development or engagement. The 1A Ambassador Program is comprised of business and community leaders who actively support the organization’s mission to make Acadiana the best place possible for business and talent. This is done primarily by attending local business grand opening and ribbon cutting celebrations, meeting monthly to discuss regional initiatives and updates, and maintaining strong engagement with Acadiana’s business community. There are nearly 60 participants in the program’s 2025 cohort.

This award speaks to the impact 1A Ambassadors are making in Acadiana.”
One Acadiana’s Ambassador program has evolved significantly over the course of 40 years – originally formed as the Diplomat Committee under the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. Following GLCC’s transformation into One Acadiana, momentum has continued to build around the program with the 2025 cohort being one of the organization’s most engaged groups to date. The 2025 Ambassador of the Year will be announced and awarded at One Acadiana’s Regional Celebration, where the organization will be commemorating it’s 10-year anniversary. One Acadiana Ambassadors are selected annually through an application process based on organizational knowledge and involvement.
