LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana (1A) has launched its 2026 Elections Hub, a free online resource designed to help voters prepare for Louisiana’s fall elections on Tuesday, November 3, and Saturday, December 12.

The 1A Elections Hub brings together candidate information, plain-language ballot guides, key voting dates, and links to official election resources in one convenient location. The hub includes separate ballot guides for both the November and December elections to help voters better understand what they will see on their ballot before heading to the polls. These guides focus on ballot items affecting City of Lafayette voters, including federal, statewide, parishwide, and district elections.

The November 3 election includes federal and local candidate races as well as 10 proposed amendments to the Louisiana Constitution. All registered voters may participate regardless of party. The U.S. Senate race will be decided in November, while U.S. House and local races could advance to a December runoff if no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote.

1A’s November Ballot Guide provides candidate names and party affiliations and provides the official ballot question for each of the 10 constitutional amendments with clear explanations of what a “vote for” or “vote against” would mean. One Acadiana is not taking a position on any of the proposed amendments.

The 1A Elections Hub also provides resources for the December 12 election, when Lafayette Parish voters will consider five parishwide propositions and City of Lafayette voters will consider four additional city propositions. 1A’s December Ballot Guide outlines the official ballot question for the parish and city propositions with clear explanations of what a “vote for” or “vote against” would mean.

Any necessary U.S. House or local runoffs resulting from the November 3 election will also take place on December 12, and the Elections Hub and December Ballot Guide will be updated following the November election to reflect applicable runoff races and candidates.

“Through our policy and advocacy efforts, One Acadiana works to ensure our business community has access to clear, reliable information during election seasons,” said One Acadiana President & CEO Troy Wayman. “With important candidate races, constitutional amendments, and local propositions on the ballot this fall, our Elections Hub brings together the information voters need in one convenient place so they can better understand their ballot and be prepared when it’s time to vote.”

In addition to its ballot guides, the 1A Elections Hub provides voter registration deadlines, early voting dates and locations, absentee voting information, polling place resources, and links to official sample ballots. For the November 3 election, early voting will take place October 20–27, excluding Sunday, October 25. For the December 12 election, early voting will take place November 28–December 5, excluding Sunday, November 29.

One Acadiana’s 2026 Elections Hub will continue to be updated throughout the fall election cycle with relevant election information, results, and runoff resources.
