The OnPath Foundation announced the launch of its 2026 High School Scholarship Program, which will award 25 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors across Louisiana. Applications will be accepted from February 1 through March 31, 2026.
The scholarship program supports students pursuing postsecondary education at accredited two year or four-year colleges, universities, or trade schools, regardless of location. Funds may be used to help offset early education-related expenses as students transition from high school into their next academic or career chapter.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Graduation from a Louisiana high school -Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Acceptance into an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or trade school
- Membership with, or commitment to become a member of, OnPath Credit Union
- Submission of three letters of recommendation
- Completion of a written essay
- Submission of a testimonial describing the impact of the scholarship
“These scholarships are intended to give students flexibility at a critical moment,” said Jay Huffstatler, Executive Director of the OnPath Foundation. “By helping cover items like books, supplies, or tools, this support allows students to focus on their education and take their next step with greater confidence.”
Scholarship recipients will be selected through a competitive review process based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and the overall strength of the application.
