LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana (1A) proudly announces the official opening of its new office at 523 Jefferson Street in the heart of Downtown Lafayette. Today’s ribbon cutting ceremony marks a significant milestone for the organization, underscoring its commitment to urban revitalization and catalytic investment in the Acadiana region.
1A sought a new office space to meet its growing needs and support its mission to drive transformative change in the region’s urban core. The former Home Bank location was chosen for its potential to activate a prime location in Downtown Lafayette. Major renovations were undertaken to transform the building, which had been vacant since 2017, into a modern workspace.
“This move represents more than just a change of address for One Acadiana,” remarked Troy Wayman, President & CEO of One Acadiana. “Being situated in downtown Lafayette is a natural extension of our efforts to make a regional impact through business-led programming, advocacy, and economic development in Acadiana.”
