CROWLEY — OneAcadia, the designated economic development organization for Acadia Parish, with One Acadiana and SLEMCO, announced a 17.72-acre site along the new Rice Capital Parkway Service Road in Crowley has been certified under the Louisiana Economic Development (LED) Certified Business Sites program.
Working with partners across the region, One Acadiana’s site development efforts respond to the needs of site selectors and relocating businesses. Having a landing pad for businesses is a crucial ingredient to attracting jobs and investment to the Acadiana Region.
Nine certified sites in all
The Bratton Family Farm site is Acadiana’s second business site and is the first of its kind in Acadia Parish. As a certified business site, it meets the state’s priority to certify smaller areas of land in addition to large tracts of land, known as Industrial Sites. This site brings Acadiana’s certified site total to nine.
“The Bratton family has been most generous and enthusiastic to participate in the economic progress of our community,” said Laurie Suire, President & CEO of OneAcadia. “To be able to offer this certified site in a prime location in our portfolio of opportunities to businesses is a great economic asset for Acadia Parish.”
