CivicCon event Wednesday to feature UL student survey results

Students and other representatives from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette will speak during One Acadiana’s next CivicCon Acadiana event at 5:30 p.m. today at the Acadiana Center for the Arts, 101 W. Vermilion.

Speakers will discuss the results from a quality of life survey conducted from over 700 UL students to measure college students’ perceptions on quality of life in Lafayette.

The CivicCon Acadiana series focuses on enhancing the quality of life in the region and retaining young talent. The survey results can help strengthen the ties between UL students and the wider community, improve the student experience and help retain more graduates in the region, One Acadiana officials said.
