1. Give us a brief history of your company.
The Town Planner is a franchise that was started over 30 years ago. Mandi Pooler is the local franchise over and publishes nine editions of the Town Planner Community Calendar. The Town Planner is mailed to homes in Acadiana free of charge. They feature local events, public school schedules and ads and coupons for local businesses. The Lafayette Town Planner also publishes the officially licensed calendar of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?
Mandi is very active in the community. She is a member of six chambers in Acadiana and also serves as the President of the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce.
3. What are you most proud of?
Since purchasing the franchise in 8 years ago, Mandi has grown from a distribution of 10,000 calendars to over 90,000. Residents and sponsors love their Town Planner calendar.
4. Where do you see your business in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?
We will continue to keep Businesses on Display Everyday throughout Acadiana for many years to come!

While our print product will remain our core product, we also continue to add digital products into the mix. We have our digital calendar, e-newsletter and Today by Town Planner app.
