Trenton Leonards Promoted To Chief Financial Officer at One Acadiana

LAFAYETTE, La. – One Acadiana (1A), today announced the promotion of Trenton Leonards to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

“I am delighted to make this announcement. Trenton recently served as our Controller, and was responsible for all of our accounting operations, cost control systems, financial planning, and budgeting,” said President and CEO Troy Wayman. “During his time with 1A, Trenton has made many significant contributions to the organization. He has played a pivotal role in leading financial operations and building strong relationships with our community partners.”

In his leadership roles at 1A, Leonards has been responsible for all accounting functions including payroll, budgeting, and tax. Leonards has also successfully led human resources and risk management for the organization.

“With his combination of experience and leadership skills, as well as his thorough knowledge of 1A’s financial operations, Trenton was the obvious choice as our new CFO. Trenton is a great addition to the executive team and has the full confidence of me, our Board, and the entire 1A organization,” added Wayman.

Prior to 1A, Leonards served as a Tax Accountant at Dugas, Soileau, & Breaux, LLC, a public accounting firm. He is ex-officio board member and past chairman of the Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
