1. Give us a brief history of your company.
While founded in 2018, Mallia Benefits is already well-known for its benefit solutions across Acadiana. Our team has decades of experience pinpointing the right benefits packages for both the employer and employee. We have seen tremendous growth in our first year and look forward to serving the community for years to come.
2. What would you tell the rest of Acadiana makes you special?
The biggest difference you can expect from Mallia Benefits? Our service. Jimmy Mallia hand-picked our team to offer the businesses of Acadiana the very best value and service for all of our client’s needs. We work with our clients individually and (most importantly) we truly listen to them.
3. What are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the number of Acadiana residents for which we have been able to provide insurance. The amount of uncovered and under-covered members of the workforce in the area has surprised us, so we made it our mission to make sure that number continues to decrease.
4. Where do you see your business in 10 years? What are your plans for the future?
We would love to continue to grow and hear the same feedback that we hear now. We know that we are making a difference to our clients and their employees. That’s our goal. Of course, we would like to be able to reach more of an audience and with a continued commitment to service, we know we will be able to.
5. 1A is “Focused on Forward” – meaning we are taking an active role of improving the
community we live in. Our members are Focused on Forward, too! – What does Focused on Forward mean to you? How is your company Focused on Forward?
We talked above about our goal to be able to provide benefits to as many people in the area as possible. Another way we are focused on the future? Our community involvement. We have been a proud supporter of the Lourdes Foundation for years as well as being involved in sponsorships around town like Rhythms on the River. We love Acadiana and the community that we have here is second to none. We will continue to strive to promote the things that make Acadiana so unique.
