Lafayette, LA – One Acadiana has announced three new appointments to its Executive Committee for a one-year term in 2026, made by Immediate Past Chairman Al Patin, CEO of Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.
The appointed leaders include:
- Kyle Bacon – Partner at Jones Walker
- Ben Berthelot – President and CEO of the Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission
- Joe Zanco – President and CEO of Catalyst Bank
Bacon, Berthelot, and Zanco hold a comprehensive understanding of One Acadiana’s mission and a strong track record of leadership and service to the organization. Bacon and Berthelot have provided long-standing leadership through their service on One Acadiana’s Board of Directors, while Zanco’s role as One Acadiana’s inaugural Chairman in 2015 offers valuable institutional knowledge and experience as the organization advances its strategic priorities.

One Acadiana’s Executive Committee is composed of a dynamic group of business leaders who review, analyze, and provide counsel on the organization’s performance and deliverables, while also offering strategic guidance related to organizational development and market influence across the nine-parish Acadiana region. These appointments reflect One Acadiana’s continued focus on engaging experienced, respected leaders who are deeply invested in the region’s long-term growth and success.
The 2026 term marks the second year of One Acadiana’s five-year IMPACT Campaign, which is focused on advancing business development, talent development, quality of place, and regional advocacy. In the first year of the campaign, One Acadiana helped usher in over $489 million in capital investment creating more than 3,000 new direct jobs – momentum the organization aims to accelerate in 2026.
