Dr. Elizabeth Romar-Chavis, the owner of Connect Chiropractic LLC, has been a dedicated chiropractic physician since 2011. Her journey in the field has taken her through New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette, where she honed her skills and built her reputation for exceptional care.
Her Career & Entrepreneurial Journey
In 2014, Dr. Chavis served as a staff chiropractor at Louisiana Medical Clinic (LMC) in Baton Rouge. From 2015 to 2017, she brought her expertise to Beaumont Chiropractic Clinic in New Orleans, where she further developed her craft, treating over 50 patients a day in some instances. Following her time in New Orleans, she spent the next five years as an independent contractor at ABC Rehab in Lafayette, LA from 2018 to 2023.

Jack & Associates first met with Dr. Chavis last summer while she was still working at ABC Rehab. She was eager to leverage her skills and entrepreneurial aspirations to provide onsite chiropractic care for businesses and organizations through her own venture, Connect Chiropractic LLC. During our meeting, we connected her with several business support organizations, including ASHRM and the UL LEED Center. We also discussed marketing strategies to promote her services and changes to her business model to accommodate the mobile aspect that she was incorporating into her business.
Additional Achievements
Since then, Dr. Chavis has achieved remarkable milestones. She was awarded LEDA’s UpLFT business micro-grant, which she used for marketing, building a website, and creating a logo. She also participated in the Accelerate Entrepreneurship business pitch competition last year, organized by LEDA, Opportunity Machine, and the UL LEED Center. These programs have significantly boosted her business.
Major Recent Milestones
Last month, Dr. Chavis opened her very own chiropractic clinic location for Connect Chiropractic at 600 East Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA. This achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
Additionally, she is partnering with SWALAHEC (Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center) to promote health equity and host community health education events in North Lafayette.
