UL, Seafood, Culture and Diversity Highlighted as Acadiana Recruits International Businesses

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Tabasco took center stage this week as Acadiana made its pitch to international business representatives as part of the Americas Competitiveness Exchange.

The Americas Competitiveness Exchange is an economic development initiative by the Organization of American States that brings together business and government leaders from the Americas and around the world. The delegates spent Wednesday and Thursday in Acadiana, where they heard from representatives from UL, the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, One Acadiana and other regional business leaders.
