Dr. Loren Scott Returns to Acadiana

LAFAYETTE, La. – Financial holding company IBERIABANK, a division of First Horizon Bank will serve as the presenting sponsor of An Expert’s Perspective with Dr. Loren Scott. This virtual event, hosted by One Acadiana, will provide the 2021 Louisiana Economic Outlook to Acadiana’s business community.

The “one-two punch” of hurricanes has created a heightened sense of alarm along the Gulf Coast. Officials warned residents they might have to shelter in place for as long as 72 hours.

ATLANTA — As Hurricane Marco barreled toward Louisiana as a Category 1 storm, officials urged residents on Sunday to seek higher ground and make sure they were stocked up on food and supplies. They were repeating a message that is part of a predictable summer routine on the Gulf Coast as hurricane season reaches its climax.

We opened in the Lafayette area in 1963 selling Critical Care Communications and Intercom Systems and are the oldest Interconnect Communication Systems provider in the area.  We have expanded our product line through the years to include Premise based and Hosted Telephone Systems, Clocks, Staff and Equipment Locator Systems, Healthcare integration Middleware and Wireless Telephones, School Intercom Systems and Cabling.

LAFAYETTE, La. — One Acadiana today announced that, in collaboration with Louisiana Economic Development, it will host the fifth cohort of the Acadiana CEO Roundtable program.

CEO Roundtables bring together groups of 15 to 18 key decision makers from Louisiana-based small businesses 10 times over the course of a year for growth-oriented roundtable sessions that support a trusting environment in which CEOs can safely explore business and personal issues with the guidance of experienced facilitators.

The Lafayette Parish School Board could spend up to $1.5 million to help needy families with internet access as the system considers virtual learning options for students.

The district will provide money for the district's Link and Learn internet program, a partnership with Love Our Schools and local providers to offer low-cost, open, wireless internet for qualifying families of Lafayette students.

The Lafayette Parish School Board allocated $1.5 million Tuesday toward providing short-term internet connectivity solutions for students without internet access as part of a public-private partnership with local philanthropists and businesses.
